Setting the default Sales and Purchases Unit of Measure

In Turbo Inventory, you can set default units of measure for both purchases and sales. This ensures consistency when creating new products, making it easier to manage inventory and streamline your purchasing and sales processes.

1. Access Settings

• Navigate to Settings and click on Tools from the menu.

2. Go to Advanced Configuration

• Scroll down to the Advanced Configuration section and click on Stock.

3. Set Default Units of Measure

• In the Stock settings, you’ll see two fields:

  • Default Sales Unit of Measure

  • Default Purchase Unit of Measure

• Enter the desired unit of measure (e.g., pieces, boxes, kilograms) in these fields. These will be the default units that will appear when you create a new product.

4. Save Your Settings

• Once you’ve entered the default units of measure, save your changes.
