How to Create a Supplier Credit Note

Supplier Credit Notes


  1. On the left-hand Navigation Bar click Puchasing -> Goods Receipts -> Book Stock In
  2. Select the Supplier as required and fill in any other details needed
  3. Add the product(s) for which the credit note relates
  4. Under the quantity for the product(s) record the quantity as a negative value
    • Ensure all other details are as required
  5. Once everything is entered, click Save at the bottom of the screen
    • At this point if you are not using Track Supplier Invoices you are done and the Credit Note will have been applied to the Supplier
  6. At this point, if you are using Track Supplier Invoices, you have 2 options to create the Credit Note document.
    1. Use the 'Convert to an Invoice' button in the Email\Print Purchase Order screen and the Credit Note will be automatically created or
    2. Click 'Continue' and then use Suppliers -> Invoices -> Add Supplier Invoice to create the document
