? Purpose

This guide shows you how to analyze and understand product data in Turbo Inventory—without ever leaving your current screen. Whether you’re in sales, purchasing, or warehouse operations, these tools help you make informed decisions in real time.


? Accessing Product Analysis

From Product List

  1. Navigate to Stock → Products

  2. Find your product

  3. Click View

This opens the Product Overview, where most analysis features are available.


? Key Metrics on Product Overview

Stock on Hand

  • Definition: Actual physical stock available in your warehouse.

  • Example:

    • Stock on Hand = 6

    • Quantity on Sales Orders = 16

    • Available Stock = -10 (indicating a stock shortfall if all orders are fulfilled immediately)

Quantity on Order

  • Displays how many units are currently ordered from suppliers but not yet received.


? Analysis Tabs

1. Stock Out Analysis

  • Predicts how long your current inventory will last based on sales trends.

  • Categories:

    • 4 days

    • 2 months

    • 1–2 years

2. Days to Stock Out

  • Provides an exact count of days until your stock depletes at current sales rates.


3. History Tab

  • Shows all document movements linked to the product:

    • Document Types (e.g. Sales Orders, Stock Counts, Transfers)

    • Quantities moved

    • Ability to reprint documents

  • Example:

    • Stock Count record of +19 units

    • Movement logs from warehouse picking if your settings deduct stock upon picking rather than invoicing


4. Supplier Pricing

  • Displays:

    • Supplier names

    • Pack sizes

    • Unit costs

  • Note:

    • This tab is permission-based and may not be visible to all users.


5. Products Bought With

  • Shows the Top 20 products frequently purchased alongside this product.

  • Includes:

    • Number of times purchased together

    • Helps with cross-selling opportunities.


6. Sales Analysis

  • Breaks down:

    • Total quantities purchased and sold

    • Sales values

    • Data shown:

      • Year by year

      • Grand totals since you started using Turbo

  • Perfect when clients inquire about:

    • Sales volumes

    • Product popularity trends


7. Stock Availability

  • Displays per-location details:

    • On Hand

    • Allocated

    • Available Stock

  • Example:

    • Available = -10 because allocations exceed on-hand stock


8. On Order Tab

  • Shows all incoming stock details:

    • Order references

    • Expected delivery dates

    • Quantities

  • Essential for managing backorders and customer expectations.


? Accessing Analysis Anywhere

Turbo makes it easy to analyze products no matter where you are in the system.

  • Example:

    • In Sales Invoices, when adding a product:

      • Click Enquiry next to the product to open its analysis details.

  • Any time you see a product name or SKU in blue, click it to access the same analysis view instantly.
