Setting up Departments and Categories as Presets

0:00 Hey guys, how you getting on? Dave Joyce here. So, we've released a new update that allows you to use your departments and categories as presets on your EPOS screen.
0:10 So, I'm just going to go over that today in this video. So, first things first, we need to turn it on.
0:14 Let's head down to our apps. Go to our point of sale. We're going to enable our point of sale, and then we're also going to tick use departments as presets.
0:22 So, originally in Turbo, you had to set the presets up separately to departments and categories, but I don't want to do that in this one now.
0:28 I have already my products broken down how I want them. I just want to use those. So, if we come down to our settings and tools here now, down to our departments and categories, and here I'm going to take, uh, generic income, and I'm going to say that's is a preset.
0:45 Save that, and then we're going to save this. We're going that And we're going to say that repairs is a preset.
0:58 I'm going to do minerals, bottles and cans as well. Now we're just going to pop to our, ah, point of sale screen.
1:21 So we'll see here on the point of sale screen, now instead of having our blue option, blue preset headers and products underneath, we have our departments.
1:27 So I can go into generic income, hire, and these are all our products that are in under that department. And I can add them in as I want.
1:35 So we can click on this one. This one, back to our departments, go into our millions, go into our cans, nothing.
1:40 And I obviously forgot to click on bottles when I was doing this. That's how you set up your, ah, departments as presets options.
1:49 So you see there, not every department's up, only the ones I've enabled, and not every category's up, only the ones I've enabled.
