Stock and inventory reports

Knowing what to reorder

• Low Stock Alert — "shows you all stock currently below its low stock alert, it also allows you to view products that are about to fall below their low stock alert." The second half matters: you can act before you run out, not after.
• Replenishment Report — "provides a inventory that is about to go out of stock"
• Inventory Forecasting — "the process of making future estimations in relation to customer demand over a specific period"

Finding stock that isn't earning

• Dead Inventory — "tracks inventory you have on hand that has not sold recently. This can be used as the Non Selling Product Report"
• Over Stocked Inventory — "lists all the inventory with stock for more than 30 days"
• Sell Through and Material Sell Through — "your sell-through rate is the percentage of your inventory sold to customers"

Between them these answer the question worth asking every quarter: what's taking up space in your warehouse?

Valuation

• Inventory On Hand — on hand with a current valuation, filterable by supplier
• Inventory on Hand (Historical) — a saved month-end snapshot. Turbo takes it automatically at the end of each month and the report shows what was on hand when that snapshot was taken.

The distinction between those two is worth understanding. Inventory On Hand is live — it tells you what you're holding now. Inventory on Hand (Historical) is a record of what you were holding at a month end, kept by Turbo rather than recalculated on demand.

That matters at year end and in an audit. A stock valuation worked out after the fact can move as costs and adjustments change behind it; a snapshot taken at the time doesn't. It is the difference between what your stock is worth today and what you can show it was worth in March for example.

Movements and counts

• Product History — "lists history movements of the Products"
• Product Audit — audit records for products
• Stock Adjustments and Stock Adjustments (Pivot Table) — the value of adjustments over a period
• Scanmatix Stock Take Export — a list of stockable items to send to your Scanmatix contact for a stock take

Batch tracking

The Batch group:

• Batch Details Report — "a stock summary of all or specific items that are batch tracked"
• Expiring Batches — "batch numbers expiring in X number of days"
• Blank Batch Numbers — "gives you the ability to fix Sales Invoices with a blank batch number"
