? Overview

This guide explains how to configure and export data for the Kingswood VetLink integration from Turbo Inventory. This integration ensures your veterinary prescription data is accurately formatted and reported as required by Kingswood.

? Step 1: Configure Product Sizing

Kingswood may require products reported in different units (e.g., millilitres instead of litres). To support this:

  1. Navigate to Settings & Tools.

  2. Go to Products → Sizing.

  3. If not already created, add a new sizing profile named Kingswood.

  4. For each product:

    • Go to Products and edit the relevant item.

    • Scroll to the Sizes section.

    • Add a record under Kingswood (e.g., if you're selling 1 litre, enter 1000 as the value and ml as the unit).

? This ensures when 1 litre is sold in Turbo, the Kingswood export file reflects it as 1000 millilitres.

? Step 2: Licensing and Prescription Requirements

Kingswood exports will only include:

  • Prescriptions that have an animal assigned, and

  • Products with a license number.

To ensure your product appears in the export:

  1. Go to the Dispensing tab of the product.

  2. Add a License Number.

  3. Add Withdrawal Information (optional but recommended).

    • This ensures the withdrawal period is not left blank in the export file.

? Step 3: Running the Export

Once your data is configured correctly:

  1. Go to the Analytics section.

  2. Locate the Kingswood VetLink Export report.

  3. Click Run.

  4. Select:

    • The customer (practice),

    • The date range.

  5. Click Refresh to ensure current data is loaded.

  6. Click Download as CSV to export the data.

? Only prescriptions that meet the export criteria (licensed + animal attached) will appear in the export file.

✅ Final Tips

  • Ensure product sizing is consistently applied for all exportable items.

  • Licensing and withdrawal details should be pre-set in products to reduce manual errors.

  • If you notice missing fields in the export file, it's likely due to missing data in the product setup or prescription.

?‍⚕️ Example

If you sell 1L of a deworming medicine:

  • Sizing should be set as 1000 ml under Kingswood.

  • Product must include a license number.

  • Withdrawal details should be filled in.

Only then will this prescription be correctly exported as 1000 ml in the Kingswood CSV file.
