Turbo Inventory offers the ability to set up a loyalty export that can be used for third-party loyalty systems like Spiral and supports offline batch processing. Follow these steps to configure the loyalty export system in Turbo Inventory.
1. Enter Loyalty Shop ID in Business Details
The first step is to add your Loyalty Shop ID to the system for each location where you process invoices.
Go to Settings and select Tools.
Under Business Details, navigate to each of your locations where invoicing is done.
Enter the Loyalty Shop ID provided by your loyalty system (e.g., "555") and click Save.
2. Add Loyalty Export Product Attribute
Next, you need to set up a product attribute for loyalty export.
Go to Settings and select Tools.
Under Product Attributes, click Add New.
Name the attribute Loyalty Export. This attribute will allow you to specify which products should be included in the loyalty export.
Click Save.
3. Assign Loyalty Export Attribute to Products
Now that the loyalty export attribute is set up, assign it to the relevant products.
Go to Stock > Products and search for the product you wish to include in the loyalty export.
Select the product (e.g., BB017) and click Edit.
Scroll down to the Attributes section, and select Yes for Loyalty Export.
Save the changes. This will mark the product as part of the loyalty export.
4. Set Up Loyalty Cards for Customers
To track customer loyalty, you need to assign a loyalty card number to each customer.
Go to Customers and select the customer to whom you wish to assign a loyalty card.
Click Edit on the customer profile.
Scroll down to the Loyalty Card section and enter the customer’s loyalty card number (e.g., 332244).
Save the customer record. Any previous sales for this customer will now be included in the loyalty export.
Note: Customers without a loyalty card number will not appear in the export.
5. Generate the Loyalty Export Report
After completing the setup, you can generate a Loyalty Export Report to view and export loyalty transactions.
Go to Analytics and search for Loyalty.
Select the Loyalty Export Report. This report details sales by product for loyalty customers and can be used for offline file batching.
6. Review the Report Layout
The loyalty export report is provided in a default layout that matches the requirements of loyalty providers. If needed, you can include additional fields, such as the customer’s mobile number:
To include a mobile number, go to Customers and select the customer.
Edit the customer’s profile to add a mobile number and save.
Refresh the Loyalty Export Report to include the updated information.
7. Export the Loyalty Data
Once the report is generated, you can export it in various formats, including CSV, for use with your loyalty provider’s offline system.
Click Export to download the data in your desired format.
If your loyalty provider uses a specific format not included in Turbo Inventory’s export options, please reach out to our support team, and we can add it for you.
Conclusion
Setting up a loyalty export in Turbo Inventory enables you to integrate your sales with third-party loyalty systems and manage customer rewards efficiently. By following these steps, you can ensure that your loyalty data is accurately tracked and exported for offline processing.
