Overview
Turbo now supports embedding dynamic, clickable links in your invoice, quote, and sales order emails. This allows your customers to easily open and review documents directly from their inbox — whether to view an invoice or approve a quote — without needing to download attachments or ask for resend links.
This feature is ideal for:
Emailing quotes for customer approval
Sharing invoice links for quick access
Streamlining sales order confirmation
? Where to Configure This
Navigate to:
Settings & Tools → Email Customization
You'll see different templates available to edit:
Invoice Email Template
Quote Email Template
Sales Order Email Template
Each of these can be customised independently to include a document link.
?️ Step-by-Step: Add a Quote Approval Link
Let’s walk through adding an "Approve Quote" link:
Open the Quote Email Template
Go toSettings & Tools → Email Customizationand select Quote.Add Link Text
Example:"You can now approve or reject your quote by clicking here."Make 'here' a Clickable Link
Highlight the wordhere, then click the Insert/Edit Link icon in the toolbar.Paste the Placeholder
In the URL field, paste:%InvoiceURL%Ignore the HTTP Prefix Warning
When prompted, click "No" to the HTTP prefix – Turbo will handle the full URL automatically at send time.Save Changes
✅ What Your Customer Sees
When the email is sent:
Turbo replaces
%InvoiceURL%(or the relevant placeholder) with the correct secure link for that document.Clicking the link opens the document in read-only mode with options to approve, reject, or print.
? Manual vs Automated
This works for:
Manually sent emails
Automatically sent documents (e.g. emailed after saving)
Resending older documents — the link will still point to the correct version.
? Summary
This enhancement helps streamline document approvals and invoice sharing, making life easier for both you and your clients. With just one click, your customer is where they need to be.
No more:
❌ Downloading attachments
❌ Emailing back-and-forth
❌ Chasing approvals manually
