The numbers on every project
Every project record carries a live totals footer:

Because cost and billed are shown separately for labour and for products, you can see where a job is making or losing money — not just that it is. A job can be fine on materials and losing badly on hours, and this footer shows you that while the job is still running.
Labour and time
Click View clocked time on the project to see the hours booked against it. The project list shows who is Clocked On right now.
Time reaches a project through clocking — the mobile app distinguishes general, workshop and project clocking. Set Automatically clock everyone off after this hour (Evening) in Projects settings so a forgotten clock-on doesn't run overnight and distort the cost.
Invoicing
- The Invoices tab shows what has been invoiced against the job.
- The Shipments tab shows what has gone out.
- ShipmentsInvoices on the project record takes you into invoicing the job.
- The project list's Invoiced tab separates jobs that have been invoiced from those still active.
Project reports in Analytics

UnInvoiced Items is the one to run monthly — it finds work you've done and haven't billed.
