Every message Turbo sends on your behalf is a template you control. Out of the box they're serviceable; edited, they sound like you.
Where? Settings & tools → Language, alongside the UI labels. Search for the message you want.
What you can edit
| Sent when | Templates |
|---|---|
| Sales | Invoice · Credit note · Proforma invoice · Quote · Sales order |
| Purchasing | Purchase order · Request for quotation · Purchase order approved |
| Money | Statement · Payment reminder · Payment confirmation |
| Operations | Repair job · Project · Certificate |
| SMS | Payment received · Statement ready · Repair ready for collection |
Merge fields
Templates carry merge fields that Turbo fills in — for example %CustomerName%, %InvoiceNumber%, %Total%, %DueDate%, %CompanyName%. Keep the ones already in a template and add text around them.
The ones worth doing first
- Payment reminder — it goes to people who owe you money, so tone matters most here.
- Invoice — the message most of your customers see most often.
- Repair ready SMS — short, frequent, and the one customers react to.
Documents, not just messages
The same screen holds the text that prints on your documents: hire contract footer and hirer's declaration, sales invoice terms, proforma footer including your bank details, quote footer, job card footer, credit note and gift card terms.
Set your bank details on the proforma footer once and every proforma carries them.
