The Packing List Module in Turbo Inventory helps you efficiently manage the packing process, whether you're using the cloud version or the mobile app. This guide will walk you through the steps for accessing and using the packing list features in both versions.

1. Access the Packing List Module

  • Cloud Version:

    • Navigate to Warehouse and select Packing Lists.

    • The packing lists will only show dispatches that are marked with a Picking Complete status.

    • You can filter the packing lists by date and sort the columns for easier navigation.

  • Mobile App:

    • Open the Warehouse section and select Packing Lists.

    • Similarly, the mobile app will display all packing lists with a Picking Complete status.

    • You can sort the lists using various options, including sorting by the newest first.

2. Picking and Packing Process

  • Picking Complete:

    • Once the picking process is complete, you can begin packing.

    • Tap on the Dispatch to open the packing list.

  • Packing Options:

    • You can either Part Pack or Fully Pack the items.

    • As you go through the packing process, you will see the items that need to be packed.

3. Scan Items to Confirm

  • If you are using barcode scanning, you can scan each item to confirm it has been packed correctly.

    • If you scan an incorrect item, you will receive both audible and visual alerts to notify you of the mistake.

    • You can also type in the box number where the item is placed.

4. Finish Packing

  • Once all items are packed, click Finish Packing to mark the dispatch as complete.

    • If using barcode scanning for the boxes, you can scan the boxes to confirm the packing.

    • If a product is non-scannable, the system will automatically pack the items once you confirm them.

5. Multi-Packing in the Cloud Version

  • Cloud Version allows for more flexibility with packing.

    • You can multi-pack items into multiple boxes.

    • For example, if you are packing several items, you can assign them to Box 1, then move on to Box 2.

    • As you pack each box, you can input the box number to keep track of the items.

    • Once all packing is complete, the system will automatically update the dispatch status to Packing Complete.

6. Handling Packing Complete Dispatches

  • Once dispatches are marked as Packing Complete, they will no longer appear in the packing list.

  • In the Delivery Section, you can view all Packing Complete dispatches.

    • You can filter the dispatches by their status to ensure that only fully packed items are dispatched.

7. Packing Workflow

  • The packing list module integrates seamlessly with the picking process. Once items are picked and moved to the packing station, the packing team can begin the packing process.

    • As items are packed, they are checked off and the dispatch status is updated to reflect the progress.

Conclusion

The Packing List Module in Turbo Inventory makes it easier to manage the packing process, whether you’re using the cloud version or mobile app. By following the steps outlined above, you can ensure that your items are packed correctly and efficiently, ready for dispatch.
