Cancel or Finalise an Active Sales Order

It is possible to remove an active Sales Order from the Active tab on the Sales Order screen via the 3 dot button available on the specific Sales Order. There can be one of 2 options available.


  1. The Cancel option is available when a Sales Order is still Pending (nothing yet delivered or invoiced) and basically deletes the Sales Order.
  2. The Finalise button is available for incomplete Sales Orders that are not Pending. It can be used for example when a Sales Order is for 20 items, and 15 have been delivered and invoiced. However for whatever reason, the last 5 items outstanding on the Sales Order will not be delivered or invoiced. The Finalise button basically marks a Sales Order as Complete, moving it from the Active tab to the Complete tab.
