In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of receiving stock using the Turbo Inventory mobile app. Follow these steps to efficiently manage your inventory:

1. Ensure Internet Connectivity

Before starting, ensure that you are connected to the internet. The stock receiving feature requires an active internet connection to function.

2. Choose Receiving Method

You have two options for receiving stock:

  • With Purchase Order: Receive stock associated with a purchase order.

  • Without Purchase Order: Receive stock without linking it to a specific purchase order.

For this tutorial, we will focus on receiving stock without a purchase order.

3. Initiate Stock Receipt

  • Open the app and navigate to the "Receive without Purchase Order" option.

  • Select the supplier from whom you are receiving stock.

4. Enter Details

  • Adjust the receiving date and enter optional details such as invoice numbers or document references.

  • Choose a label type if you wish to print labels automatically after receipt.

5. Add Items to Stock

  • Click on "Add Items".

  • You can add items manually by typing a description, scanning the item, or entering its stock code.

  • Select the item and specify the quantity received.

  • Optionally, configure settings such as stock type (free stock), pack size, and bin location.

6. Manage Batch Items (if applicable)

  • To add batch items, click on "Add Item" and select "Batch".

  • Enter the batch number and expiry date for the batch product.

  • Specify the quantity of batch items received.

7. Save and Sync

  • Once all items are added, click "Save".

  • Review the summary and click "Finish and Sync" to update the stock information in the system.
