Working on Multi-Equipment on the Mobile App

Modified on Thu, 8 May at 2:34 PM

In this guide, we will walk you through the process of editing a work card that includes multiple pieces of equipment. This feature helps streamline the management of multiple tasks associated with a single work card, making it easier to handle equipment repairs and maintenance.

1. Accessing the Work Card

  • Navigate to the Booked In section to view your list of work cards.

  • Scroll through the list to find the work card you want to edit.

  • If a work card contains multiple pieces of equipment, you will see two entries for the same work card number. For example, you may see Work Card 200002 listed twice, indicating that there are two pieces of equipment associated with that card.

2. Editing the Work Card

  • Click on the work card you want to edit. This will open the details of the work card.

  • Select Edit to modify the work card.

3. Switching Between Equipment on the Same Work Card

  • Once in the edit view, you’ll see the reported fault and details for the first piece of equipment, such as mileage, serial number, and fault description.

  • If you need to switch to another piece of equipment on the same work card, simply choose the other equipment from the list (e.g., “Sculls Verb”). The system will update the details to reflect the new equipment, including the fault and other information.

4. Adding Parts and Tasks

  • Once you’ve selected the correct equipment, you can proceed as usual by adding parts or creating tasks for the work.

  • Repeat this process for each piece of equipment on the work card, ensuring that all details for each item are correctly updated.

5. Completing the Work

  • After completing the necessary tasks and updates for one piece of equipment, you can switch back to the other equipment on the same work card and continue working on it.

6. Enabling Multiple Equipment on a Work Card

  • This feature is optional in Turbo Inventory, and you can turn it on through your system settings. For more information on how to enable this feature, please refer to other videos or support documentation.

Conclusion

Editing a work card with multiple pieces of equipment in Turbo Inventory allows you to efficiently manage repairs and tasks for several items associated with the same work card. This streamlined process helps ensure all equipment is properly tracked and serviced.
