Finding your way around Settings & tools

Almost everything that changes how Turbo behaves is in one place: Settings & tools, organised into sections.

You will see every section, whether or not you use it. Settings & tools lists all of them for everyone — so a company with no Clinic still sees Veterinary, and a company that doesn't manufacture still sees Manufacturing. Nothing is hidden from you and nothing is missing; the sections for modules you don't run simply aren't relevant to you.

If a setting isn't where you expect, the usual answer is that it belongs to a module and lives under Apps → Manage — rather than that your Turbo is missing a section.

Two things to know

Maintained lists. Many settings are simple lists you keep up to date — delivery routes, failed delivery reasons, pallet types, quote lost reasons, stock adjustment reasons, hire workflow, sales order workflow. They all work the same way: a name, a display order, and an edit action. Once something is a list rather than free text, you can report on it — which is the reason to maintain them.

Module settings live with the module. Settings for Work Shop, Point Of Hire, Projects, Quick Service ePOS, the Customer Portal and the mobile app are reached through Apps, not here.
